Jewish Womens' Week 2012 a request for volunteers to help with the collections

You can help to increase the Woodside Park Jewish Women's Week collection by giving just a few hours of your time for one week a year.

Our brilliant local captain, Rosemary Goodman, is looking for volunteers to help increase the collection. Last year Woodside Park raised over £11,000 including Gift Aid and is the fifth most successful area in the whole of the UK. Please help us do even better!

Rosemary needs people to deliver materials to the collectors - there are currently 61 in the Woodside Park, North Finchley and Totteridge areas. She also needs more collectors as a couple of her regular supporters have moved out of the area. Kindly email Rosemary at rosemarygoodman34@gmail.com to offer your time.


Day Centre appeal for drivers please

DAY CENTRE - We need a few more drivers prepared to give a lift about once a month to senior members who wish to attend the Day Centre. The Day Centre operates on Mondays and Thursdays in the Wiseman Hall and the lift is either at 9.30 or 1.20. If you are able to help please contact Yvonne Hay by clicking here . Minyan Request from Rabbi Hackenbroch

The daily minyan is very much the heart and soul of our community. No prayer goes unanswered and the prayers of the kehilla have a far greater strength when we stand in unity as one.

We have services both mornings and evenings . However we are looking for a few good men to help strengthen the evening minyanim in particular , thereby ensuring the voice of thanksgiving and heartfelt pleas as a community and as individuals is heard by the Almighty.





Ladies Shammas Rota

Ladies, can you spare one Shabbat a year to be on the Ladies Shammas Rota? In order to keep down to once a year we need extra volunteers.

If you are already on the rota and would be happy to take a turn twice a year please also get in touch.

Any offers of help will be gratefully received by Rachel Lewis .



Kiddush Rota Volunteers

Help is still required about once every 6-8 weeks for the Friday kiddush Rota. To volunteer please contact Louise Mason via the the shul office.
