After the AGM and election, Rabbi Davis paid tribute to the hard work of his predecessor and outgoing committee and was pleased to note that the incoming executive and committee included a number of newer recruits to the US Rabbinate. Over 30 Rabbis had attended the AGM which demonstrated the strong degree of interest and engagement with the current and future work of the RCUS.

Observing the many sweeping changes at the US Centre in recent years - especially with developments at Tribe, the new Living & Learning Department and Chesed Department, Rabbi Davis said "The RCUS looks forward to working with the team at the Centre and combining our talents to achieve the best for the United Synagogue in the coming years."

New Co-Vice Chairman Rabbi Nissan Wilson of Clayhall United Synagogue commented: "I am delighted that the rabbinate has elected a fantastic executive and committee, and I am excited about being part of that team. As Vice Chair I feel privileged to be working with Rabbi Baruch Davis and am confident that with his dynamic leadership the committee will achieve great things.

I look forward to seeing the RCUS working together with our partners in the local communities and at the Centre to each bring out the best in each other."

Co-Vice Chairman Rabbi David Lister of Edgware United Synagogue said: "I am delighted to have this opportunity to work with Rabbi Davis and the rest of the RCUS. We are looking forward to creating a good working relationship with the incoming new president of the United Synagogue and to build on the previous successes of the United Synagogue as we develop a vision for the future."
