Selichot Service

According to Ashkenazi custom, the first Selichot are recited on Saturday night after midnight on the Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah and a minimum of four days of Selichot must be observed.

Selichot are penitential poems and prayers, especially those said in the period leading up to the High Holidays, and on Fast Days.

Please find below two videos, the first featuring Joshua Cohen who was our boy solist in this years' Selichot service and the other video featuring Chazan Stephen Robins and Chazan David Rome together with the Woodside Park Shul Choir.
